About me

Growing up in Israel within the embrace of my loud and wild Yemenite family, I was so lucky to be enfolded in the rich, multi-cultural life of Givat Olga. In my colorful immigrant town, ethnic diversity was honored and shared through food and celebration.

Life’s quirky twists and turns landed me in Minnesota, with my American husband and eventually – 4 kids. So here I am, exploring the merging of the Mideast with the Midwest through food, parenting and lifestyle. Join me for the journey!
